Tooltips

It's never been easier to add Tera Tome tooltips to your site.

1. Add this piece of HTML code anywhere on your page:

2. You are done!

Tera Tome links found on your site will now sport a tooltip. The following pages are supported: ability, class, item, mission, npc, schematic.

Link By Name

All database pages can now be linked to with names instead of IDs! For example, you can use http://www.teratome.com/item/agonizer instead of http://www.teratome.com/item/12292. Pages linked this way are not case sensitive, and work perfectly with tooltips! We recommend using + as a space because some forum software may not realize the spaces are part of the link, but on our end we support both.

To have tooltips modify the colors of links on your site and add icons where appropriate place this before the normal tooltip code:

Only want to do one of those things? Then include just the option you want, like so:

<script>var framehead_tooltips = { "iconizelinks": true }</script>

A full list of options:

• colorlinks - Color item and recipe links according to their quality. Set to true.
• iconizelinks - Add small icons to item, recipe, ability, and quest links. Set to true.
• renamelinks - Change all Tera Tome database links to use the name of what they link to. Set to true. Note that this will even change things like image links to database pages to their respective name.

Once you have the <script> tag added to your site, the following parameters can be used in the data attributes of your links (<a>).

Custom URLs
You can make your links point to any page you wish, and still display a tooltip. Example:

<a href="#" data-teratome="item=12292">hai</a>

These can even use linking by name! Example:

<a href="#" data-teratome="item=agonizer">hai</a>

This works with all database types – items, abilities, etc.
